How do I know Total Tea is working for me?

Remember, Total Tea provides subtle and gradual results.  You may experience increased and/or easier bowel movements, increased energy, better digestion, improved sleep, and an overall healthier feel.  Sometimes, you may not even be aware Total Tea is working on your system because of its extremely gentle design.

Can you drink Total Tea chilled or must it be hot/warm?  Also, if it can be cold, can one make a larger quantity to be kept in the fridge like 4-5 days?

Total Tea is great hot or cold.Yes … you can drink hot or cold with same benefits.  If you add ice; however, you will need to compensate for the dilution.  We recommend just chilling in the fridge.  The oxidation process will start to effect the color & taste of the tea the longer you refrigerate it (gets bolder tasting & darker color with time).   This doesn’t alter the effectiveness of the tea; however, I would refrigerate and re-use 3-5 days and then make a fresh batch.

Does your company use bleached tea bags?

The ultimate question is whether the filter paper is chlorine bleached.  The concern is that a byproduct of chlorine bleaching is dioxin, a highly carcinogenic poison.  Many people associate the whitening of paper with dioxin pollution.

No tea bag filter paper currently available is chlorine bleached.  The filter paper we use is whitened using an oxygen process.  Chlorine bleaching has largely been abandoned in the US for any kind of paper.

There is a type of tea bag filter paper that is called unbleached, which means it hasn’t been whitened.  Either way, there is no bleach involved.  We don’t use the unbleached because it doesn’t add any performance or environmental advantage.

When will I notice results?

Results will vary from person to person since every system is different.  You may experience changes within a few days, while others will take a few months.  Generally, people with healthier systems obtain quicker results.

Feel Better With Total TeaHow often may I drink Total Tea?

Every system is different, so consult your doctor if you have questions.  For best results, drink Total Tea in the evening.  If you are having difficulty obtaining desired results, use Total Tea in the morning and evening.

How do I know I have the proper ratio of water to tea?

It may take time to discover the perfect cups of water per tea bag ratio to best fit your system.  Use Total Tea as directed on the box for the first week.  If the suggested recommendations are too strong then drink a ½ cup instead.  If you don’t experience your desired results, increase the concentration.  Start by increasing the steep time to 8-10 minutes and stir well.  If you are still not successful, use 3 cups of water per tea bag.  If necessary, continue to strengthen the concentration until desired results are obtained.   Unhealthy systems may require the concentration of 1 cup of water to 1-2 tea bag(s).

What is the Senna herb and .... is it safe?

Senna is an FDA-approved non-prescription drug and has been proven safe and effective for ages 2 and up (ususally doctor recommend under age 16).  Senna in high concentrated doses (pill form) around 17-30mg/day CAN cause dependency and shouldn't be taken for lengthy periods of time.  Our tea contains the leaf form and constitutes approximately 1/10th of the overall weight.  In addition, it is highly diluted with the steeping process.  Our company directs clients to use for 1-2 weeks and then "as needed" just to be on the extreme safe side; however, many of the over 700 doctors that carry our product have recommended for much longer periods based on the extreme gentleness of our product.  If you are pregnant and/or nursing or under the age of 16, consult your doctor before taking.
